As we all know, Akhil Akkineni had to endure a pretty bad flop with his self-titled movie Akhil. Since he has been working on a second project that is supposed to completely different than the first.

The movie is being directed by Manam fame Vikram and now the team of this untitled movie is on a hunt to search for the perfect actress next to Akhil.

Many big names like Pooja Hegde, Megha Akash and more were heard to be starring next to the 23-year-old, but that news turned out to be false.

Now, the latest news suggests that the Bollywood director Priyadarsin`s daughter, Kalyani, who is currently working as an assistant director in Malayalam and Hindi movies, might star next to Akhil in the new untitled movie.

No official talks have been set yet but the team is in a complete desperation to pull in a co-star for Akhil, as the movie completed the second schedule of shooting last night.

Hopefully, Kalyani might be finalized and we can see the fresh-face next to Akhil.
