Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has been admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad after sustaining a fracture while filming a high-octane scene for the Telugu film NBK 109.

Urvashi's team confirmed that she suffered an intertrochanteric hip fracture and is receiving treatment at a medical facility in Hyderabad. They also revealed that her parents are upset with the filmmakers for the incident, expressing their anger over the safety measures on set.

The incident has raised concerns about safety protocols on film sets, especially for action sequences.NBK 109, directed by Bobby Kolli, is generating significant buzz in the industry, with a star-studded cast that includes Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, and Urvashi.

The film's music is being composed by Thaman S, and Bobby Deol is playing a pivotal role as the antagonist. This marks Bobby Deol's second Telugu venture after Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is currently on hold due to the actor's Lok Sabha election campaigning.

NBK 109 went on floors in November 2023 and also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Prakash Raj in prominent roles. The film is backed by Fortune Four Cinemas, Sithara Entertainments, and Srikara Studios and is expected to release in May 2024.

Interestingly, this incident comes a year after cricketer Rishabh Pant's tragic accident. At that time, Urvashi and her mother were heavily criticized for seemingly stalking Pant during his hospital stay, facing accusations of mental harassment. The incident reignited speculation about their past relationship, which was reportedly marked by a bitter break-up. However, Pant has consistently denied knowing the Bollywood actress.
