Bollywood actress to play Shakeela

A biopic on adult movie actress Shakeela is currently in pre-production phase. The news is that Richa Chadha of 'Fukrey', 'Ram Leela', 'Masaan', 'Sarbjit' and 'Main Aur Charles' fame will don Shakeela's role in the biopic.
"Shakeela's fans were spread across Asia and she earned fanfare as a woman which back then was unheard of," a news agency has quoted Richa's spokesperson as saying.
"The film's script was exciting and is a great story to tell and the story will make for a great watch for the audience," Richa is said to be feeling about the film.
The untitled flick is expected to be a multi-lingual one, as Shakeela is popular not just in Kerala but also other South Indian states. It will be shot from the end of April.
