Bollywood actors who went for Kajal effect

In his forthcoming release Dawaat-E-Ishq`, the dashing actor Aditya Roy Kapur essays the role of a Lucknoawi chef. His character 'Tariq' is highly different from his previous ones. To look authentic his Lucknawi character, Aditya has worn Surma - which is Surma is very common in the City of Nawabs.

Aditya thought that it would help him get a feel of the character. Interestingly, Aditya is the only actor from gen-Y to wear surma for his film. However this is no new... For, already several of our Bollywood actors have gone for that kajal-effect. Take a look at these stars who have also worn surma to fulfil the demands of their character:

Aamir Khan - In Fanna, the actor plays a Muslim tourist guide in Delhi. Mr.Perfectionist wore surma to make his character come out as real.

Hrithik Roshan - Hrithik Roshan who plays the role of a Muslim Mughal Emperor Akbar, in the Indian historic romantic drama Jodhaa Akbar`, wore surma to get into the skin of his character.

Saif Ali Khan - Saif played the role of Om Shukala- a goon in Omkara, an Indian crime drama film adapted from Shakespeare`s Othello

Ranveer Singh - In Ram Leela`, he plays the character of Ram, a Gujarati boy, belonging to the Rajadi class.

Ranbir Kapoor - He wore surma for an item song in the film Chillar Party.

Manoj Bajpai - In Gangs of Wasseypur`, he plays a coal mafia in the film, named Sardar Khan.
