Popular Bollywood actor to enter Kollywood with 'Kaatru Veliyidai'

Ace director Mani Ratnam has time again surprised us with unexpected casting. In his last release 'O Kadhal Kanmani' he made veteran Bharathanatyam dancer Leela Samson don the greasepaint for the first time.

Now the director has chosen a Bollywood actor for his upcoming film 'Kaatru Veliyidai'. Actor Vipin Sharma who has acted with Amir Khan in 'Taare Zameen Par' and with Dhanush in 'Raanjhana' will be making his Tamil debut with an important supporting role in 'Kaatru Veliyidai'.

The other members of the cast include Karthi. Aditi Rao Hyadari, Shraddha Srinath, RJ Balaji. Delhi Ganesh and Karunakaran. The musical score is being rendered by A.R.Rahman for this film. The shooting of the film has been progressing in Ooty since last week.
