Suriya, who was recently seen in the political entertainer NGK will next be seen in KV Anand's Kaappaan, which is getting ready for an August release. Currently, the actor is shooting for his next movie, Soorarai Pottru which is directed by Sudha Kongara who made Irudhi Suttru earlier.

Soorarai Pottru is reportedly inspired by the life of former Army Captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and Suriya will be seen sporting multiple looks in the movie. Aparna Balamurali who had acted in 8 Thottakal and Sarvam Thaala Mayam plays the female lead.

While Telugu actor Mohan Babu was announced to play a key role in the movie, the latest addition to the cast of Soorarai Pottru is Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal, and reportedly he will play a negative role, as a CEO of a airline and competitor of Suriya. An official announcement on Paresh's role can be expected soon.
