Shreyas Talpade has recently revealed details of a heart attack and angioplasty that left him 'clinically dead' for a few minutes. In a recent interview with media, the actor admitted that he has been suffering from acute fatigue for some time due to his family history of heart conditions, which led him to take up medications and precautions.

He narrated an incident where the breathlessness began on December 14 and he felt pain in the left hand. Thinking that it may be brought about by muscle tensions from the shooting of action scenes, he thought to go home first before checking in with the hospital.

However, his condition worsened as he realized the seriousness of the issue and rushed to the hospital with his wife, Deepti, as his face went numb. He suffered cardiac arrest on reaching the gates.

After the ordeal, when he regained consciousness, Talpade apologized to his wife and admitted how the whole experience had changed his view of life. He stressed the importance of taking care of one's health, saying that no one knew what was coming next and that everything should be checked in order to take proper care of oneself.
