Superstar Rajnikanth had started the year with his Pongal superhit Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has been shooting for his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions. The shooting of Darbar has been progressing in various parts of Mumbai.

It was earlier announced that Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty will be the main villain in Darbar, and being set in Mumbai, the movie also features many Bollywood actors like Prateik Babbar, Pradeep Galra, Jatin Sarna and Dalip Tahil in important roles. Now yet another Bollywood actor has joined Darbar.

It has been revealed that actor Nawab Shah who has been a part of movies like Tiger Zinda Hai and Dilwale and was also a part of Tamil films like Gajenda and Yaan will be a part of Darbar and he will be seen as a businessman and friend of Suniel Shetty. Nawab Shah was recently in news for his secret marriage with Pooja Batra.
