The stage is set for the grand festival of democracy in Tamil Nadu. There is a going to be a rare multi-cornered election for the Tamil Nadu State Assembly this time as political parties and electoral alliances are getting ready for the polling day May 16, 2016 and rigorous election campaign in a bid to catch the opportunity to rule the state for the next five years.

10 Days ahead of the election day, Kollywood will see the release of a much expected political thriller 'Ko 2' which revolves around the unbreakable connectivity between the media and politics.

Elred Kumar who has produced 'Ko 2' under his RS Infotainment banner has officially announced the film will be hitting the screens across the globe on May 6. The film, directed by Sarath has National award winner Bobby Simha and Prakash Raj in important roles. Bobby gets to play a journalist for the first time while Prakash is the Chief Minister. The gorgeous Nikki Galrani comes in a female lead character that comes throughout the film and not a mere eye candy of the hero. Bala Saravanan who has been seen in comical roles so far will be seen playing a substantial character.

The trailer of the film that released last week has enhanced the expectations over the film. Musical score has been rendered by Leon James. Philip R Sundar and Venkat M have handled the cinematography. Kevin has taken care of Editing.
