It was earlier confirmed that the Bobby Simha-Nikki Galrani starrer political thriller 'Ko 2' will be hitting the screens on May 6. But now the film has been postponed by a week.

Elred Kumar who has produced the film under his RS Infotainment banner has confirmed that the film will be releasing on May 13, 2016. New release posters mentioning the date as May 13 are also doing rounds.

Actor Suriya's mega budget entertainer '24' is releasing worldwide on May 6 and the decision to postpone 'Ko 2' seems to have been taken based on various considerations such as availability of theaters.

Avoiding a clash is definitely a wise decision in the interest of stakeholders connected to both the films.

'Ko 2' has been directed by debutant Sharath. The film is not a continuation of the 2011 blockbuster 'Ko' produced by the same banner.
