Following the blame games, union meeting and the never-ending controversies over the recently released movie Agni Devi starring Bobby Simha, Madhubala and Remya Nambeesan and directed by JPR and Sham Surya, the producers have filed a complaint against the actor in Chennai commissioner's office.
TFPC joint secretary Durairaj, who had been to the office, said "If there was an issue with the movie and the producers, Bobby must have filed a complaint with the union so that we could have seen the movie and resolved it but he rather filed legal cases under various sections. Having invested money, the director cum producer finished the movie and released it. After release Bobby has got an FIR filed against the director and demands stay as well as urges public not to watch the movie. This has resulted in huge losses for the maker".
It was also revealed that Bobby had initially complained that Madhubala had more scope than him and wanted a reshoot, which was not fair, and now he has taken all steps to belittle the efforts of a maker and his product. Bobby Simha is a threat to the industry and it is doubtful if he will be given further opportunities in Tamil as the producers are extremely disappointed with him, it was said. The film would have turned out commercially successful, had Bobby Simha not indulged in such acts, said the visibly angry producers and members of TFPC.
