After `The Dirty Picture' and `Kahaani', Box Office Queen Vidya Balan returns to go solo lead in the much-talked detective film `Bobby Jasoos'. The film is directed by Samar Shaikh, produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha under their banner Born Free Entertainment and is presented by Reliance Entertainment.

`Bobby Jasoos' starring Vidya Balan, is a film that celebrates the aspiration of Bobby, who wants to become the number one detective in the old city area of Hyderabad. Apart from a hatke storyline, Vidya's character looks are hatke too. She was touted to have a series of look change - a beggar, an astrologer, a fisherwoman, a dabbawalla, a teacher, a postman...in all there are 12 looks that Vidya has portrayed in the movie.
