Bobby Deol talks about working on 'Apne 2'

Veteran actor Dharmendra and his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol have given countless iconic Bollywood films in their career. It was quite a big deal when the father son trio united for the first time on big screen in 2007 sports film 'Apne'. It was an emotionally heavy film which was quite successful on box office as well.
Now that the sequel is in development, and it is supposed to being together the three generations of Deol family, fans are hoping for something epic. The plans for 'Apne 2' have delayed cause of the pandemic. Here's Bobby had to say about the film, "Apne was made long time back, but Apne 2 is being written keeping in mind the view point of the new generation. Having said that, it will have all those elements associated with families and the issues around them.”
In an interview a little while ago, director Anil Sharma shared, "This film is an extension to the story of the last one. I must say it is Dharam ji who is most excited about the project. He always thinks ki camera unki mehbooba hai aur woh unhe baar baar bula rahi hai. As far as Karan is concerned, he will be trained under American boxers for the film.”
