In last few years, Bobby Deol has revived his career by doing projects which are totally different from his early career. His performance as a fake godman in 'Aashram' managed to impress the audience. Bobby earlier stated, “My mom’s friends called her and told her that they loved my role so much irrespective of the character being so villainous.” It looks this negative shade of Bobby really growing in the audience.
The actor is going to be seen in another villainous role in his upcoming project 'Love Hostel'. "I think I have become the villain of the industry (Laughs!)," Bobby says.
A few good roles in a particular genres can typecast the artist but Bobby doesn't fear that. He says, "Typecast happens by default. In the coming years you will see me in films or web shows in a lot of negative shades. But all these are challenging characters and very different from each other. As long as there’s variety I don’t have a problem.”
Talking about 'Love Hostel', Bobby said, "Teaming up with the director Shanker Raman was exciting. I have loved his previous work like his film Gurgaon (2017, starring Pankaj Tripathi). With this film we are targeting a lot of film festivals post which it will be released mainstream. So, let’s see how it goes.”
