Bob Biswas director slid a John Wick reference in the film

Actor Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen in Diya Ghosh's psychological thriller 'Bob Biswas' which has received amazing response from the audience. One character which stood out in particular was of Kali Da played by actor Paran Bandopadhyay. Fans found his character strikingly similar to that of concierge from 'John Wick' movies and demands for a spin-off focused on him are being made.

Talking about Kali Da, director Diya Ghosh said, "We wanted to keep his store similar to the one in John Wick. We wanted him to be very loving (but also) to keep him a little bit mysterious.”

In the movie, Abhishek plays an assassin, who has lost his memory. There is a particular scene in the film where Bob efficiently assembles a gun despite having no memory of ever being an assassin. Talking about significance of that scene, Diya said, "With the gun assembly, we wanted to show as a muscle memory moment where he actually remembers how to do it. Even though he has forgotten everything through the coma, it is within him. We wanted to show it more in the sense of like ‘it is what he is’. That is who he is as a human being."
