Bo Good For Kannada Films

The box office response to recent Kannada films 'Lifu Ishtene, Sarathi and Paramathma' pretty good and the next half of the 2011 is turning very encouraging for producers.

'Lifu Ishtene' scored well making profits from the first week. The 80 percent of the investment came to 'Lifu Ishtene' via television channel rights. The film in the fourth weeks affected by the piracy used a good trick. 12 minutes of addition to the film has garnered good support to the film the debut of Pawankumar direction. Actor Diganth whose earlier film 'Bisile and Jolly Boy' did got his image strengthened from 'Lifu Ishtene' success.

The other two films in the last two weeks to make a wonderful businesses are 'Sarathi' and 'Paramathma' both the films together earned nearly Rs.25 crores in the collections.

In two weeks Sarathi from 140 theatres earned a gross of 16 crores and 'Paramathma' in six days earned Rs.9 crores from 100 theatres all over Karnataka.

This is a second win consecutively for producer Jayanna and Bogendra. The earlier film of the producers duo 'Johny Mere Naam' also did well in the box office.
