Nithyananda the self-proclaimed godman fled India last year after allegations of rape and sexual abuse. He is in the wanted list of the Gujarat police after complaints were lodged that he has kidnapped and kept children captive in the Ahmedabad Ashram.
Though Nithi, as he is called colloquially, is absconding for several months he releases videos in which claims have been made that he has bought an island in the Caribbeans and has set up an Hindu nation called Kailasaa. Nithyananda had also made a complaint against the Indian government to the United Nations Organization. His disciples Ma Nithyanandita and Ma Tattvapriya Ananda whose father lodged the complaint informed the Indian courts that they were in the US of their own free will. They added that their father was conspiring against them and they were not kidnapped by NIthiyananda whom they regard as a father figure and guru.
The INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) has issued a Blue Corner Notice against Nithyananda following the request from the Gujarat Police Force to locate, identify or get information treating him as a wanted criminal.
Nithyananda in his latest video has claimed that he is Param Shiva and no stupid court can prosecute him. Police sources are of the opinion that with the INTERPOL joining in the hunt for Nithi he could be caught and deported to India pretty soon.
