The 61-year-old Hollywood actress Sharon Stone is in the news for an atypical reason. She is looking for a dating partner and, most recently, she opened an account on the popular dating app Bumble. Soon enough, the company suspended the account for "violating our rules"? What rules did Stone violate? None. The users who reported her profile thought that it was a fake one. "Why would such an ultra-popular actress be on a dating app?" they told themselves and mass-reported her profile. The company promptly suspended the profile.

A shocked Stone took to Twitter to complain to Bumble. "I went on the Bumble dating site and they closed my account. Some users reported that it couldn’t possibly be me! Bumble, is being me exclusionary? Don’t shut me out of the hive," she tweeted out.
