Pongal has always been the entertainment season for Telugu people and this year too, we have a great blockbuster week coming up. On one hand, two big ticket films viz., Mahesh Babu's '1-Nenokakdine’ and Ram Charan's 'Yevadu' are releasing in theaters and on the other, two of the biggest hits of 2013 are being screened on Satellite TV.

News is that Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s all time industry hit ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ which completed 100 days of its run only last week is being screened on MAA TV and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s come back hit ‘Balupu’ will be screened for Pongal in Zee Telugu channel. Both the channels are already prepared huge promotional campaign for the films for the highest eyeball capture for their films.

It will be interesting to see if the TV will pose any serious threat to the films released in theaters this week.
