It was in 2011 April, the gory incident took place in the life of Raghu as he loved Anusha. Eyes of Raghu were gouged out in a very harsh decision of Anusha brother Anjan Gowda. The reason is love. Raghu suffered badly and lost his vision. At 26 years he was gym instructor from Mandya.

For the gory incident people of Karnataka reacted and supported Raghu. Raghu with good support consulted 27 eye surgeons in a period of seven years to get back his vision. It was certified that nerve replacement only could bring back his vision. One such experiment in regaining eye sight was successful in London. Raghu is in needs of lakhs of rupees to get the treatment. The success of a film ‘Raghuveera’ based on his life would be a big hope for him.

On Tuesday night blind Raghu, well built; good looking came to Renukamba Digital Studio for the pre release meet of ‘Raghuveera’ Kannada cinema. Raghu is running a gym institute as of now. Raghu was also in the cast of ‘Banna Bannada Loka’ in which Harsha, hero of this film ‘Raghuveera’ was also part of the cast. At the time of shooting of the film ‘Banna Bannada Loka’ in real life Raghu faced the trauma of losing two eyes.

This type of incident should not happen for anyone in life. The lover Anusha has claimed that she was not aware of such incident till media reported. It is on marriage day such incident happened perhaps kept her not aware of the issue says Raghu. It is my mistake in life. I should have brought to the notice of parents to decide on the love marriage.
