Union Home Minister Amit Shah has today kickstarted the Jan Aashirvaad Yatra in Jamtara, Jharkhand.
The No. 2 in the BJP said that the upcoming Assembly elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Haryana will see the saffron party retain power. "This Yatra that begins from the sacred Santhal Paragana today will lead us to a resounding majority in the upcoming elections. Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji carved out Jharkhand (in 2001) and Modi ji helped the State prosper. We have transformed the State in the last 5 years," the HM said.
He attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying that he asks for evidence when the Indian military carries out strikes. "When we go for a surgical strike, Rahul Gandhi opposes it. When we go for an airstrike, he asks for evidence. He should tell the people of the country which direction he wants to take," Amit Shah thundered.
