Popular TV channel Republic and the polling agency CVoter have come up with National Approval Ratings. Overall, the seat share of the NDA will come down compared to 2014. However, the BJP-led alliance is still the leader if elections were to be held today.
As per them, if elections are held now, Aam Admi Party will be swept aside by the Modi wave in Delhi. There are 7 Lok Sabha seats in the National Capital Region. And the BJP is projected to win all of them, leaving the AAP literally with nothing. This is what had happened in 2014, too.
In Bihar, the NDA is projected to win 31 seats, while the Congress and its allies will have to make do with 9 seats.
In Gujarat, the saffron party will win 24 out of 26 seats, leaving its principal rival with just 2.
In Maharashtra, NDA will win 22 seats, while UPA will have to make do with 11, NCP 8 and Shiv Sena 7.
In Karnataka, the BJP will win 18 seats, while the Congress and JDS will win 7 and 3, respectively.
Surprisingly, in Naveen Patnaik's Odisha, the BJP will win 13 seats, while the BJD will win only 6. UPA will win 2.
In Rajasthan, the BJP will win 18 and the remaining 7 will go for the Congress.
In Tamil Nadu, DMK will win 28 out of the 39 Lok Sabha seats.
In Kerala, the BJP will not win even a single seat. The Congress will sweep Punjab. This is the only major state in which the Grand Old Party will win big.
In states like Assam, Modi's party will rule the roost, the poll says. In Jharkhand, the BJP's number will come down from 12 to 8 seats.
The YSRCP will win 21 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, leaving the ruling TDP with a mere 4. The TDP stands to lose because of its exit from the NDA (a few months ago over the special status issue). Its vote share has eroded significantly, the survey says.
