Dilip Ghosh, President of Bengal BJP, has said that those anti-CAA rioters who were caught destroying public property were shot down by police in the BJP-ruled States Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Karnataka. "They were shot like dogs," he said.
"On the other hand, Mamata Banerjee's police didn't take action against the people who destroyed public properties as they are her voters," Ghosh said.
He said that at least one crore illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators are staying in Bengal. "You (illegal immigrants) come here, eat our food, stay here and damage public properties. Is it your zamindari? We will bash you with lathis, shoot you, and put you in jail," he added.
