Asaduddin Owaisi of the AIMIM has been in the news ever since he took the oath in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

It all began with the BJP MPs raising slogans like 'Jai Sri Ram' and 'Vande Mataram' as Owaisi walked towards the Speaker's area to take his oath. The Hyderabad MP could be seen gesturing that he was surprised that they were raising the slogans. After taking his oath, the AIMIM leader ended it by taking his own set of slogans: Jai Bheem, Jai Meem, Takbeer Allah hu Akbar, Jai Hind.

His supporters on social media are elated that Owaisi gave a "fitting reply" to the MPs of the saffron party.

"It is good that they remember such things when they see me, I hope they will also remember the constitution and deaths of children in Muzaffarpur," Owaisi later told a news agency.
