Actor Prakash Raj has served a legal notice on BJP M.P. Pratap Simha for having spoken about him in a derogatory manner. He has asked the M.P. to seek open apology for his comments failing which the issue would be taken to Court.
Prakash Raj, one of the many artistes who are very busy on social networking sites recording views on local and national event of significance, had recorded a few days back on his Twitter account his mighty disappointment about the brutal murder of Bangalore-based journalist Gauri Lankesh, squarely blaming a particular parties and a few groups associated with it for the women journalist’s gruesome murder.
Raj termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a ‘very good’ actor as the latter was keeping ‘mum’ on the issue despite knowing (who were) the culprits. Pratap Simha, Lok Sabha M.P. from Sakleshpur, Hassan in Karnataka, had opposed Raj’s comments and recorded some strong observations on his Twitter account and said that the BJP won’t be disturbed by pygmies such as Prakash Raj.
Simha reportedly expressed some objectionable views on Raj’s family on his Twitter account but deleted the same very soon. In his legal notice served on Simha, Raj has asked Simha to tender an open apology for his remarks about his family members failing which the issue would be taken to Court.
