Now you can marry fair Kashmiri women: BJP MLA's shocking remark

BJP MLA Vikram Saini from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district has stated that party workers - both Hindu and Muslim - should be excited over the revoking of Article 370 as it would now help them get married to fair Kashmiri girls.
The workers are very excited and those who are bachelors can get married there. There is no issue now. Earlier, there was a lot of atrocities on women. If a woman from Kashmir got married to a man from Uttar Pradesh, her citizenship would be revoked. There was different citizenship for India and Kashmir, the MLA said in the video that has been going viral. He further added, Muslim workers should celebrate. They can get married to fair Kashmiri girls. There should be celebrations. Everyone should celebrate, be it Hindus or Muslims. This is something the entire country should be celebrating.
While addressing the Rajya Sabha on Monday, Union Minister Amit Shah moved a resolution to scrap Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which grants special status to the state. Article 370 specifies that except for defence, foreign affairs, communications and matters specified in the Instrument of Accession of Jammu and Kashmir, the Parliament needs the state government's ratification for all other laws.
