Superstar Rajinikanth's political entry has been a long debated topic in Tamil Nadu. Ever since the much loved star opposed the then ruling party in Tamil Nadu and supported the opposition in the 1996 State Assembly Elections people expecting and inviting Rajinikanth to enter politics has been a recurring phenomenon.
The Bharathiya Janata Party which has been ruling the nation with thumping majority is said to be eager to bring in the Superstar into their party as it does not have a star face as far as Tamil Nadu is concerned. Many of the leaders have directly or indirectly invited Rajinikanth to enter politics and serve the people.
Now Dr.S.Amar Prasad Reddy claiming to be a Member of BJP from Chennai has sent a letter to Rajinikanth requesting him to join the party "to strengthen our Prime Minister's vision." The letter also hints that Rajinikanth should lead the BJP in Tamil Nadu with these words: "your successful administration. transparency and leadership skills with international exposure could make Tamil Nadu, the No.1 state in India".
What will be Rajinikanth's response to this call from BJP or will he remain silent as in mos of the cases is something we have to wait and watch.
The interesting thing to wait and watch would be the TN BJP leaders are going to reaction- Will they own this invitation or reject it as a individual's wish.
