Over the past week, AIADMK leaders were strongly criticising Kamal Haasan for his criticisms about the Tamil Nadu Government and alleged corruption in the state. Some ministers of the ruling party of of the state even went on to drag Kamal's personal life. TN's main opposition party DMK along with PMK, CPI (M) and a few others parties have offered their support for Kamal and condemned the state ministers for speaking about Kamal in derogatory manner.
However the state representatives of the Barathiya Janata Party which rules the nation are also against Kamal Haasan. The party's state president Tamizhisai Soundarajarn had earlier asked why Kamal Haasan did not speak anything about the ADMK Government when it was ruled by the deceased Chief Minister Jayalalitha.
On Tuesday night Kamal Haasan's tweet gave a strong hint that he is game to enter politics. This has become a hot topic of discussion in media and social media today.
Reacting to this, Tamizhisai has asked what good has Kamal done to the Tamil society and on what basis he aspired to become a political leader.
Now the BJP's H. Raja has set his guns blazing against the actor for his purported eagerness to take a plunge into politics.
Agreeing that like every other Indian citizen, Kamal too has the right to dream about making big in politics, Raja said it will however remain a mere dream and will never become true.
The firebrand politician also said that Kamal is a coward and that was evident when he cried and threatened to leave the state when he was facing stiff opposition from religious groups during the release of 'Viswaroopam'. Raja observed that the people of TN will never vote for a coward like Kamal Haasan.
