Venky may be just about coming to terms with the disaster called Subash Chandra Bose. The film is certainly one of his poorest in recent times.

What hurt his fans and the lay public was the fact that how could Venkatesh, who takes extreme care in his choice of subject, have gone for such a project. They felt short-changed.

After the fiasco, Venky has taken a break and is holidaying with his family.

But amidst the gloom of the bad news, the silver streak of good news is Sankranthi, his previous film, has become a confirmed hit.

The film that has been slow in its pick-up is now unstoppably veering towards becoming a success and major meets are being planned to celebrate it.

Now, after this development, Venky seems to have decided that his next movie has to be for Super Good Films.

Venky always enjoys a great rapport with the banner. His Raja, Suryavamsam and now Sankranthi are all testimony to that.

Now when Super Good films is planning to remake its Tamil hit Tirupachi, Venky has almost insisted to them that he would do it. V samudra may be the director.

Success, they say, bequeath success.
