Bitten by acting bug is Thiruma

Thol Thirumavalavan is a busy politician. But bitten by the acting, the politician-turned-actor has been evincing keen interest to act in films. His maiden venture Anbu Thozhi is yet to see the light of the day, but that has not deterred Thiruma from accepting a slew of offers on the big screen.

He has appeared in a song sequence for Mansoor Alikhan's Ennai Par Yogam Varum.

Now Thiruma has been cast as the hero in a movie titled Kalagam. Directed by M Kalanjiyam, Kalanjiam has opted for Thiruma to play the protagonist.

A grand photo session for the movie was held recently featuring Thirumavalavan.

As the title suggests, the movie has a mass theme. Srikanth Deva scores the music for the movie.
