It has been years since Bithiri Sathi aka Chevella Ravi Kumar has made a huge name for himself, thanks to his comic timing and rib-tickling pronouncements. He is now in the news for quitting TV9, the top-ranked Telugu-language news channel.

The star of TV9’s special program Ismart News reportedly got miffed with the management of the 24/7 channel. The buzz is that the former 'Theenmaar' face of V6 used to face one or another issue with the management ever since he joined it. It's to checkmate him that Shiva Jyothi was enlisted by the channel, the rumour goes.

Before his departure, Bithiri Sathi is alleged to have infused footage concerning his family into a program without the approval of the editorial team. This was the last straw.

Meanwhile, there is this rumour that Sathi will be seen as an important inmate in the fourth season of Bigg Boss.
