Like most of the young generation actors today, he is also the industryÂs child. He is the son of veteran producer GK Reddy and younger brother of Vikram Krishna who tried to be a hero and ended up as a producer. His passion for cinema got him an apprenticeship with actor-director Arjun, after completing Visual communication at Loyola College. His status as assistant to ArjunÂs films exposed him not only to direction but also in acting. And then he got his first break as a hero in the film ÂPandemkodiÂ. Yes! We are talking about the tall darkish guy who made waves with his first film. He is Vishal and today is his birthday! Later he went on with ÂBarani which was a box-office success His next film 'Salute' also did a good business. VishalÂs role as a police officer and his Six-packs made 'Salute' a hard-sell project. VishalÂs latest release is ÂPista in which he paier with Shriya saran. He has zoomed past more established names and is today considered not only a Âsaleable star but a Âsafe bet by the distributors.
