Birthday wishes to Prasanna
- IndiaGlitz, [Friday,August 28 2009]
He was still an engineering student when he attended an open audition for fresh faces in Susi Ganesan's ÂFive StarÂ. We can still remember his babyish look and he came out with a refreshing performance. Yeah, we are talking about Prasanna. Today is his BÂday and we are pleased about his journey in Tamil cinema.
Prasanna was good at mimicry and acting right from his school and college days. He had the talent of a young star and this got him to Tamil film industry. His debut film was a good show but then his next two films did not fare well at box office. He the got recognized once more for his role Chandran in ÂAzhagiya Theeye with Navya Nair. Then he went on to do ÂKasthoori MaanÂ, ÂKanda Naal MudhalÂ, ÂSeena Thaana 001 and ÂSadhu Miranda which were all average grosser at the box office.
The bold role of a rogue called Dhaya in ÂAnjathey got him to win the ITFA Best Villain Award. Just the same way his recent release ÂAchchamundu Achchamundu a social thriller directed by Arun Vaidyanathan went on to become a success. The film was officially selected for screening at the 12th Shanghai International Film Festival under the International Panorama category. The film also went on to receive the Best Homegrown Feature Film award at the Garden State Film Festival at New Jersey.
His career graph has grown from his first appearance and Prasanna is now a toned actor who can handle any character with ease and dedication. How many heroes in Tamil cinema will say that they are open to villain roles? But this man who loves his profession is ready for any game that can give him enough stuff to enact. Looks like elders in his family have already started the search for his life-partner. ÂExpect some good news around the end of this yearÂ, says the actor.
IndiaGlitz wishes Prasanna happiness and joy in life, and many more birthdays to bring him delight.
