From a simple hero to youngsters heartthrob, his journey has been wonderful filled with several memorable movies. The shy hero, Suriya, have grown immensely from his first movie and delivered fabulous subject-oriented performances.
Be it any kind of role, Suriya has easily sunk into his characters and went on to establish an impression in the Tamil cinema. He has earned high credits for movies like Nandha, Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini, Perazhagan, Pithamagan and Varanam Aayiram. Several of his romantic songs went on to become lover's favorites and he went on to be the ideal romantic hero. His ÂSillunu Oru Kadhal is famous for its breezy love story and loved by all.
Son of Sivakumar, Suriya is enjoying the best years of his life now. Married to an equally successful actress, Jyothika, Suriya is a proud father of their daughter, Diya.
Three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards in his shelf, Suriya is a directorÂs actor. He has even done double roles which brought out the high potentialities from him.
