Birthday Special: Ravi Teja

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,January 26 2010]

Ravi Teja celebrates his birthday on January 26 and IndiaGlitz wishes him a very happy and prosperous year ahead. In the past one year, the actor has seen two successes and one failure, with his 2009 summer release 'Kick' topping the collections records and his another release, later in the year, 'Anjaneyulu' bombing at the box office.

His latest release in the first month of 2010, 'Shambo Shiva Shambo', is doing well at the box office, with his performance universally being called very good. However, his biggest achievement in the period has been his winning the prestigious Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film 'Neninthe'.

The intense actor, known for doing justice to all the roles he does, won the award much to the celebration of his diretor Puri Jagannadh, who gave him the big break as hero with 'Itlu Sravani Subramanyam' and 'Idiot', in a row. SS Rajamouli was so impressed by his performance in 'Neninthe' that he rightly predicted that RT would romp home with the Nandi for the year.

The coming 12 months are important for the actor, with film after film slated for release. Soon his film titled Veera will be launched. Have a great year, RT!
