Birthday poster: Nagarjuna plays NIA agent Vijay Varma in ‘Wild Dog’

Marking Akkineni Nagarjuna’s birthday on Saturday, the makers of ‘Wild Dog’ have released a lovely poster.  The action thriller, directed by Ashishor Solomon, has the ‘Manmadhudu-2’ actor in the role of NIA officer ACP Vijay Varma.  Known in the department as Wild Dog, Nag’s character has handled 12 missions successfully.

And his team comprises of a field agent named Alia Reza, a RAW officer named Arya Pandit, NIA’s Caleb Mathews, Rudra Goud and Hashwanth Manohar.

The makers said that about 70% of the production works have been completed already.

While Dia Mirza is the female lead, Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher has got an action-oriented role.  Produced by Niranjan Reddy, who is currently bankrolling Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ on Matinee Entertainments, ‘Wild Dog’ has got stunt choreographer David Ismalone of ‘Fast & Furious 7’ fame on board.  Shaneil Deo of ‘Kshanam’ fame is the film’s cinematographer.  Kiran Kumar is the dialogue-writer, while Murali SV and Yugandhar T are doing the art direction and VFX Supervision.
