Time and again our Bollywood celebrities have stories to tell. As an outcome of her shooting stint for 'Dum Maaro Dum' in Goa, Bipasha Basu too has one such story to tell. Apparently during one of her outdoor schedules for the film, she came across an Indian who was seemingly interested in striking a conversation with her. Though Bipasha kept her distance from the man as she is used to people hanging out on the sets of her film, the man insisted that he sees her for a short while at the least. On being continously pursuaded Bipasha did agree to say 'hello', only to realise that the man was actually a Russian.

"Can you believe it? This guy looked as Indian as you and me but couldn't say a single word in Hindi. All he was doing was rattle down a few things in Russian. So you know, you can never be too sure of what's going to come your way in Goa," smiles Bipasha.

She goes on to elaborate, "I have observed how Russians, Africans and quite a few Europeans have actually made Goa as their home. They have their own lives and lifestyle. Quite a lot of hippie activities go around with these people. Also, since they intermingle with each other a lot, it also results in babies with different nationalities. It isn't just the Indians now who are the locals there. I guess Goa is pretty much a global village."

Rest assured Bipasha you won't be minding such a village as long as you enjoy a fan-base amongst European nationals as well.
