Last week (or last year) we read that Vishnu will be the protagonist of 'Neer Paravaigal', a film directed by National Award winner Seenu Ramasamy, as Vimal who was earlier roped in for the project was unable to allot dates.

Now the latest about the film to be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is that 'Veppam' girl Bindu Madhavi will be the leading lady. "She is playing a Christian girl in the film," Seenu Ramasamy says.

"She makes a good pair with Vishnu. I finalised Bindu Madhavi for the role after auditioning a bunch of new faces. Her expressive eyes and complexion have made her perfect fit to the character I conceived," adds the director.

Vishnu, the 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' and 'Kullanari Koottam' man, says, "I am happy to work with a director like Seenu Ramasamy. The film has offered me a very good role." 'Neerparaivagal' is based on the lives of fishermen in Nagapattinam and Tuticorin districts.
