'Bindaas' has been universally liked

At a press briefing held by Bindaas' producer Anil Sunkara, he said that of the over 20,000 cinegoers who watched Bindaas in the overseas market, only two of them did not like the film. Mr. Sunkara said this in the context of a money return guarantee promised by the makers if someone did not like their movie.

Of the two who approached the makers saying that the film was not good, he said, one of them wanted to know if the promise would be kept. No wonder, the film is a modest commercial success seems wherever it released.

Bindaas, he said, is being patronised by all sections of audiences. Commending Veeru Potla for perfectly giving a celluloid shape to his vision, he also mentioned that Potla was elected as the director as per Manchu Manoj's advice.

Firstly thanking the audience for lapping up his production Bindaas, Anil said that, AK Entertainments, in association with 14 Reels Entertainment, will produce a film with Mahesh Babu in the lead.

The film will be directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Another of AK's full-fledged home production was also announced by him at a press briefing he held yesterday. It will be a film starring Naresh and Sri Hari and will be the debut directorial of Veerabhadra Chowdhary.

Kollywood superstar Vijay's film Kuruvi, is being dubbed in Telugu as Dopidi. The film is ready for a release soon. 'Bava' canning in Konaseema

Siddhartha is currently doing Bava, which is set in a pastoral backdrop. Thus, the film's selection of the famous Konaseema region for filming their film. Its shooting commenced in January and is proceeding at a brisk pace. The exalted lover boy is doing a film set in a rural area, years after his Nuvvuvastanante Nenoddantana, which was set in a village for good part.

Killer completes shooting

Sindhura Gadde-starrer Killer is done with the shooting part. At Romji Film City, the songs were canned recently. Produced by Sri Srinivasa Creations and directed by Nagesh Nara, it is a whodunit that takes place in a jungle.
