Billa II Music Review

 The wait is over at last. The audio of 'Billa 2' is out and songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, as expected, are making a buzz. The music composer, without going the usual way, has attempted something new in each and every song, making the album a perfect treat for not just Ajith fans, but also music lovers.

Gangster... Yuvan Shankar Raja and Stefny

Already familiar among the audience for accompanying the teaser, 'Gangster...' is a mass song presented with some 'class'. The ever-popular Billa beats wear a new avatar and Yuvan, in the company of Stefny, does a magic.

Idhayam... Shweta Pundit

Trust Yuvan to come out with at least one melody in each of his album.  'Idhayam...' by Shweta Pundit is one such song. Her mesmerizing voice, blended with the mesmerising composition (flute, veena and drums) by Yuvan, makes an entry into the heart through ears.

Yedho Mayakkam... Yuvan Shankar Raja, Tanvi Shah and Suvi Suresh

Yuvan once again proves with this number that he is a good singer too.  It is a party song, however goes with the lyrics. A foot-tapping number that energizes the listener, the music composer is in his full form in 'Yedho Mayakkam...'

Madurai Ponnu... Andrea Jeremiah

'Chennai Ponnu' Andrea Jeremiah has crooned this 'Madurai Ponnu...', which turns out to be a folk number with Arabic shades. With all the qualities to strike a chord with the masses, this apparent item number is here to stay.

Unakkulle Mirugam... Ranjith

Every human being is a mix of good and bad. This forms the theme of this song, which touches a bit of philosophy. Ranjith, accompanied by drums, has sung this number with ease. Yuvan's tune and Muthukumar's lines go hand in hand.

Here comes the big treat for Ajith fans. When they listen to the song and imagine Ajith walking on the screen, it should sure give goosebumps to them. It is an interesting collage of everything the mass would expect to hear.
