Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that ‘Billa 2’ will see a trailer launch on March 15 which will be followed by the audio release of the film that has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The promotional activities for the film will also be kick-started on full swing from March.

In Entertainment, the presenters of this prequel released a whole new poster of the film last night. The poster sees Thala Ajith as an angry young don with a gun and we must say the Thala looks younger than he did in ‘Billa’.

Recently it was widely reported that Nayantara will be seen in an item number in this film as she is the original ‘Billa’ girl and now that she is back to films the makers are keen on casting her. However, sources close to the actress rubbish them as mere rumors and express that Nayan is keen on making a big comeback and will do that through her Ajith – Arya – Vishnuvardhan flick.

‘Billa 2’ is a prequel to 2007 blockbuster ‘Billa’ and will showcase how David, a commoner, goes on to become Billa, one of the most feared dons in the world.
