‘Billa 2’s eagerly awaited trailer launch that was scheduled to take place in a massive scale this evening (July 2) at the Anna Centenary Library has been cancelled due to reasons undisclosed!

Following this producer Sunir Kheterpal has expressed that a theatrical trailer cut for 105 seconds will be unveiled tonight at 7 pm on the internet, much to the relief of fans.

The event was cancelled on Sunday night and it is said that a tiff between Sunir Kheterpal, the producer, and Ascar Ravichandran, the distributor, over the event’s costs resulted in a cancellation of the much publicized affair. Each expected the other to bear the cost of the event which eventually led to a cancellation expressed reliable sources.

A prequel to blockbuster ‘Billa’, ‘Billa 2’ has Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah in the lead roles with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vidyut Jamwal and Sudanshu Pandey play the baddies in this flick helmed by Chakri Toleti.

‘Billa 2’ hits worldwide screens on July 13.
