Actor Biju Menon is on a signing spree. The actor who is currently busy with the shoot of Orayiram Kinakalal directed by Pramod Mohan, has signed his next. Titled Padayottam, the first look poster of the movie was released recently by the actor himself through his Facebook page. 

Directed by debutant Rafeek Ibrahim, a former associate of filmmaker Jayan Vannery, Padayottam is produced by Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters. Sophia Paul had last produced Mohanlal’s superhit movie Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol.

Scripted by Arun. A.R and Ajay Rahul, Padayottam has music by Prashant Pillai and lyrics by Hari Narayanan. Touted to be a family entertainer, the movie’s cinematography will be handled by Prasanth Raveendran. 

Editing is by Ratheesh Raj and art direction by Sabu Mohan.  The team is currently finalizing the cast of the movie which will go on floors in January. Padayottam is likely to hit theatres during Vishu. 

Meanwhile, Biju Menon’s Rosapoo is gearing up for release. The movie starring Biju Menon, Neeraj Madhav and Anjali in the lead roles, has already grabbed the audience attention with its trailer and songs.
