It's almost 1 pm. Yet, who is going to win in the Bihar Assembly elections is a game of ultimate suspense. Ordinarily, the result should have become obvious by now.
This time, the State is keeping all parties in suspense. At the time of writing, as many as 80 seats are seeing a margin of fewer than 2,000 votes between the highest and second-highest vote-getter. Anything can happen in these 80 seats as more rounds are counted.
In as many as 45 seats, the margin is less than 1,000 votes. In as many as 20 seats, it is less than 500 votes.
At the moment, NDA is leading. However, nobody can rule out the possibility of the RJD-Congress duo making a comeback and crossing the half-way mark. This time, EVM machines are higher in number because of COVID-19. Clarity is expected by 3 pm.
