Protest against 'Bigil' movie by tearing posters

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' is one of the most awaited films this year slated fo release on Diwali in the end of October. The audio launch of the film was held last week and Vijay's speech has become a viral and trending topic on social media.
In Coimbatore, the meat and fish sellers association conducted a protest against 'Bigil' in front of the Collector's office by tearing up the first look posters as well. The protestors have stated that in the first look poster Vijay is seen placing his leg on the wooden block that they use to cut their meats and fishes. They have added that the wooden block is sacred to them and Vijay standing on it wearing slippers is an insult to their trade and also hurt their sentiments.
'Bigil' directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment with music score by A.R. Rahman has Vijay and Nayanthara as the lead pair.
