Actress Amritha Aiyer, who had earlier played the female lead in movies such as the Vijay Yesudas starrer Padaiveeran and also in Vijay Antony starrer Kaali has got a big break with her recent appearance in the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Bigil directed by Atlee.

Amritha Aiyer had played the captain of the football team mentored by Vijay and her character Thendral has been well received by fans. The actress had revealed in a recent interview that she had celebrated her birthday with the team and unexpectedly Nayanthara could not be there on the day.
