The costliest ever mythological film will be directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Not just that, it is going to be a multi-lingual and multi-starrer film that will cast who's who of Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood. The initial costs are estimated at over Rs. 55 cr.

That Mohan Babu will play Ravan should a film on the Ramayana by KRR be made has never been in doubt. The veteran, who has got a menacing demeanor, is only keen on playing the challenging role. However, all this is old news. The latest developments will only excite you more.

The film will star Vikram and Suriya in important mythological roles in the untitled film. Besides, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Vivek Oberoi will be part of the big-ticket film.

Producer Vishnu Babu has reportedly approached Weta Digital, a New Zealandan digital visual effects company. (Rise of the Planet of the Apes is its finish).

Well, in the past a popular Bollywood director had tried his best to make a magnum opus based on Mahabharatha but somehow it did not materialize. KRR, with prior experience in handling subjects of historical-devotional genre, may well succeed where others have failed.
