Bigg Boss-3 continues to be a mix of the mundane and the sensational. In Episode 5, there was a fight over a missing piece of chapati. Punarnavi Bhupalam, who definitely has no much following among the audience, staged a much-ado-about-nothing scene over the missing food item.

But the one big takeaway of the episode came when Varun Sandesh made himself available for his wife, Vithika, who was "hurt" by what Mahesh Vitta said to her. Vitta asked her to go away and this made Vithika do somewhat of a tearjerker.

Varun became that typical onscreen lover boy who tried to teach Vitta a lesson for being "rude" with his wife. Some social media users have described his behaviour as an "over-reaction". Vithika continued to express her anger at Vitta. It will be interesting to see what Akkineni Nagarjuna has to say about this whole fracas.

It is ironic that Vitta, who had been hurty by Ravi Krishna's racist comment in the previous episode, himself hurt some other contestant in the following episode.
