As for his political leanings, the youngster may be said to be a Hindutva supporter. He is also a staunch supporter of Narendra Modi. On 23 May 2019, the day when the Lok Sabha results were out, Abhijeet wrote on Instagram that the BJP winning the election was a proud moment for India. He also said that he hopes social justice and keyboard warriors will learn to outgrow their pseudo-political awareness.

Abhijeet also put Modi in the league of Winston Churchill and Roosevelt. "He is not a Hitler. Don't use themes like secularism and liberalism to support your agendas of vendetta and sabotage for a man and a nation, and it's people that are beyond you (sic)," Abhijeet advised liberals in the post.

Talking about India's tradition of tolerance, the 'RamLeela' actor noted, "There is no country in the world that has the diversity that India has, and given that, there is also no country in the world that has the acceptance levels that India has. We are an accepting nation."

Modi made Jai Sri Ram posts when the Supreme Court of India gave a verdict in favour of the Hindu parties in the Ram Janambhoomi case. He also supported the annulment of Article 370.
