Varun who is now getting ready for the release of his first titular role film Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha received a warm and loving welcome from his family members post his eviction from the Bigg Boss house and the video of the same is currently going viral on social media platforms.

The first double eviction happened in Bigg Boss season five last week. Varun and Akshara who shared a close bond were evicted from the show. Varun's maternal Uncle Isari Ganesh was present in the Big Boss set during his eviction and the trailer of the film was also released in the show.

Varun who went home after the eviction received a warm welcome. The video had Varun hugging his mother and father outside his humble abode while the family members welcomed him with lights and crackers. He also cut the cake to celebrate surviving for over 85 years in the Bigg Boss house. The video which was shared by his brother Ashwin is currently going viral on social media platforms.

Coming to Varun's onscreen career, he was introduced in Anthony's Oru Naal Iravil (2015) and has since regularly collaborated in ventures involving A. L. Vijay and Prabhu Deva. His upcoming film Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha is an action thriller film written and directed by Gautham Menon. Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh of Vels Film International, the film stars Varun and Raahei in the lead roles, with music composed by Karthik.
